This year, we have seen a few interesting news tidbits coming out about our favorite celebrities and big names in the world. Many have enjoyed a blossoming romance, and some have even taken that further by getting engaged. Who, then, are some of the celebrities who have gotten engaged as 2022 has progressed?
Lindsey Hubbard
Hubbard recently announced her engagement to Carl Radke. Both are stars on Summer House, the popular TV property, and they got engaged whilst on-set together. They were in the middle of filming the seventh season of the show and had only announced they were dating earlier on in the year. Good luck to them both, as the eye of the media will no doubt be on their relationship as they move ever closer to that all-important big time.
Billy Corgan
Corgan recently got engaged to Chloe Mendel. Corgan is the frontman of Smashing Pumpkins and has been with Mendel for a considerable length of time. Indeed, they even have children together – though they never chose to move forward with the idea of marriage until now. Billy asked Chloe to be his wife on her 30th birthday, and the announcement was made to the world via the medium of Instagram. Congratulations to them both, it has been a long time coming!
Laura Harrier
Harrier has announced her engagement to Sam Jarou. They said that it was a situation where they simply knew that it was right, and they were delighted to bring about a sense of calm in their relationship. Many find the idea of getting married to be the very definition of chaos; it would appear that Harrier and Jarou feel differently. Best of luck to them in what could be the most exciting journey of their lives so far.
Perrie Edwards
Little Mix star Edwards recently announced she is engaged to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, the Liverpool FC midfielder. Though ‘AOC’ has been out of the football picture for much of the last season or two due to injuries, he is still a well-liked member of the Liverpool team. Despite so many injuries, ‘Ox’ can at least look forward to marrying the love of his life when their big finally comes around after it was announced via Edward’s Instagram account.
