Who doesn't love a game of Monopoly?
For many of us, Monopoly is one of the most beloved board games. Yet this game has also been proven to be the cause of most fights among families and groups of friends. A study shows that one in five people have had arguments during a game night. This is because people would show unsportsmanlike behavior while playing.
What kind of behavior is this? For example, quitting the game because someone can't stand to lose, accusing someone else of cheating, and starting a quarrel or difference of opinion between two or more players. Not very family-friendly, then, such a game of Monopoly.

The same survey also showed that 11% of people have experienced a physical fight during a game night. 22% of people reported that because of arguments, certain games were no longer played. A competitive spirit can sometimes bring out the worst in people.
For 41% of people in the survey, winning is an important goal of playing a game. Luckily, 75% of people indicated that having fun with others is the main purpose of a game night. Anyone up for a game of Scrabble?
