“I’ll be there for you” was what Friends promised in its theme song. It has been 18 years since the iconic NBC sitcom ended, but this is still the truth. And while our favorite characters may not hang out at Central Perk anymore, the actors who played Rachel, Ross, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey, and Monica have been known to keep in touch. Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox just did that in celebration of Lisa Kudrow’s birthday, making the hearts of Friends fans around the globe so happy.
Lisa Kudrow, who played the oddball Phoebe Buffay on Friends’ 10 seasons, celebrated her 59th birthday on July 30. To mark the occasion, Jennifer Aniston shared a bunch of pics on her Instagram stories.
Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller in the sitcom, took to social media and shared a short clip on her Instagram story of her and Lisa laughing their hearts out. She wrote, "Happy birthday loot, you make everything better and funnier".
The women worked together for 10 years from 1994 to 2004. The group had a brief reunion in early 2021, and Aniston admitted in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that it brought up a lot of unexpected feelings and memories of the difficulties she faced as the show ended.
It’s unlikely the Friends will get together for another reunion, so we’ll just continue to find happiness in all of these little moments between the actors.
