4 Celebrities Who Made Very Peculiar Demands

Being rich, famous, and successful must have a natural impact on your ego. You know yourself how your swagger comes into focus and your entitlement grows when things are going well in life. Well, for celebrities, this must be doubly so. While we might expect the rich and the famous to be a touch on the precious side, some stories lingering around about celebrity demands will make your eyebrows raise.

Gary Busey

Most assume Gary Busey is a fun-loving guy with little to no ego. Some stories, though, paint a slightly different personality. When involved in Quigley, he demanded that all mirrors were removed. Why? Because his character was going to Heaven, and he said that there were no mirrors in Heaven. Ergo, he should have no mirrors around him when filming. Yeah. We know.

Will Smith

Ever heard of an actor wanting two trailers for one movie? Will Smith wanted two trailers. One to relax in, and one with a gym installed so he could work out. When filming Men In Black 3, then, he ensured that he got that so that he could stay in good shape. A bit less weird than some of the others on the list, but still a bit strange.

George Clooney

He might be one of the most famous and cool-looking actors in the world, but even Clooney can act like a clown. When he was on the set of Gravity, he asked for a bespoke beach to be made around his trailer. He said that it was vital to keep him in his role as an astronaut. How that works we cannot fathom, but the rumor suggests that Clooney demanded this unrealistic addition when shooting this film.

Uma Thurman

When filming Kill Bill, Uma Thurman was said to be very persistent about having not one, not two, but three cell phones. She also demanded that she got a hefty discount on the clothes that she would be wearing when shooting the movie. We never really got the reasons why she wanted a discount, given she is quite wealthy, nor why she wanted three phones. The rumor goes, though, that this was her major demand during what is arguably her most successful role as a movie protagonist.
